The red wine glass from the Paula collection can thank a number of design influences for its timeless appearance. The motif of roses comes from French and Belgian Art Nouveau, whereas the look of the drinkware set was formed by the trends presented at the World’s Fairs in Brussels (1897) and Paris (1900). The more than 100 years that have passed haven’t taken anything away from the Paula collection’s ability to impress. The combination of hand-blown pink underlaid crystal, the cut, the engraving, and the gilding still delights lovers of Bohemian crystal to this day.
